TWO HUGE GAMES IN THE SPACE OF A WEEK

一个星期内两场重要的比赛

Hi everyone,

小伙伴们大家好啊，

Today I’m writing this from London, where we have an important game. To pay Chelsea a visit while having the opportunity to go through to the quarter finals of the FA Cup is special, for many reasons. Step by step, we have progressed through the competition with plenty of motivation, beating tough opponents such as Arsenal, and now we have another big obstacle in our path as we try to achieve our aim of winning the whole thing. Returning to Stamford Bridge always brings back great memories for me and I hope that it will be a good game from which we can qualify for the next round.

今天的周记是在伦敦写的，在这里我们将迎来一场重要的比赛。不管怎么说，在客场挑战切尔西，试图打进足总杯的四分之一决赛都是很特殊的。我们在这项赛事中一步一个脚印地走来，打败了像阿森纳这样的强敌。现在，我们通往最后冠军的途中又出现了一个拦路虎。回到斯坦福桥总是能给我带来美妙的回忆，希望这将是一场精彩的比赛，并且我们能够晋级。

Some days have now passed since our clash against PSG at Old Trafford and we are really looking forward to playing again. It was a game that, obviously, left us feeling disappointed. We aren’t out, by any means, but we have to wait until the start of March to try and turn things around. The first goal did us a lot of damage, with the game having been tight up to that point. Clearly, they are a great team and when we tried to find the equaliser they were able to score a second. From that point on, it got tougher.

自从在老特拉福德输给大巴黎之后已经过了几天了，现在我们真的很想再次站在球场上。很显然，那真的是一场令人失望的比赛。无论如何，我们还没有被淘汰，但要等到三月初才能有机会逆转局势。第一个丢球对我们打击很大，比赛从那时开始紧张了起来。大家都知道，对方是一支强队，当我们想要扳平比分时，对手打进了第二球。这也让比赛更加困难了。

Before playing against PSG again we have a lot of important games ahead of us, like tonight in London or on Sunday against Liverpool. I know that February 24th will be a date that is of special interest to our fans and I know from experience what it means to win in such an important game.

在和大巴黎的第二回合比赛之前，我们还有很多重要的比赛要打，比如今晚在伦敦的比赛，还有周日对阵利物浦。我知道我们的球迷对于2月24号的比赛有多么的看重，我也知道从历史经验来看，赢下这场重头戏意味着什么。

We will take things as they come, however. Tonight will be a tricky game, as tough as it will be special, and I hope that we can return to Manchester having gone through.

兵来将挡，水来土掩。今晚将会有一场复杂的比赛，既特殊又困难，希望我们能够带着晋级的结果回到曼彻斯特。
